One Wise Owl has made a new friend... with the peeps at Scrap Shop in Bomaderry. Scrap (Shoalhaven Creative Re-use Action Program) Shop kinda works as a Reverse Garbage making all kinds of wonderful things using materials like timber off-cuts, left over wool and coffee sacks to make things like bath mats, owl tea-cosies (how cute) and funky cushions.
The Scrap Shop is run by an energetic bunch of creative and talented volunteers and is also supported by Work for the Dole participants, which is an Australian Government Initiative. How good is that?
